This amulet features Luang Por Guay Chudintaro of Wat Kositaram, a revered monk from Chainat province. The front depicts Luang Por seated, while the back shows Hanuman Cheun Thong (Hanuman raising the flag), a highly popular design.
It was created in Buddhist Year 2521 (1978 CE) to commemorate the Ubosot boundary-marking ceremony. The amulet is made from copper with a classic, beautiful surface and clear, deep details.
In Thai Buddhist tradition, this amulet is associated with power, invincibility, and protection from danger, and is believed to support the wearer in overcoming obstacles, much like Hanuman raising a battle flag.
